Dr. Hourihan did her undergraduate study at Dartmouth college. She recieved her Medical Degree from Tufts University Medical School.She did her Pediatric Residency training at Children's Hospital, Boston, where she then served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. She then did her Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Children'sHospital, Boston, and served as Chief Fellow there. She has specific interests in office based pediatric cardiology consultation, in echocardiography, and in adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease.
Dr. Hourihan's research has been published in several journals including Circulation, The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and The American Heart Journal.
She is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
